PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
To find your awning replacement size take a measurement from the center of the left side awning arm to the center of the right side awning arm. DO NOT TAKE a measurement of the actual awning fabric. Fabric size is determined by center of arm to center of arm measurement ONLY. When taking your measurement to determine your awnings size, you will act like the fabric is already removed, DO NOT even pay attention to it. You are measuring the center to center (middle of left arm to middle of right arm) distance between your arms, you are NOT measuring your fabric.

The only thing that could have been included was a new pull strap even if the price was a couple dollars more. Maybe that could be offered as an option if needed. Other than that, so far I am satisfied with the awning. My brother helped me install it and it was a first for both of us. We have previously installed complete units and repaired some hardware on awnings but by no means are we professionals. The videos and Dyers made the job easy. Thanks for the fast service.

The awning replacement fabric arrived within 3 days. As good as the original awning fabric. Took 1-1/2 hours to get the old one off and the new one on. Helps to watch a couple of YouTube videos first to get the order of work correct. No surprises. Went as planned.

My biggest concern was ordering the correct material because I couldn't find the model number of my old awning anywhere. I took a chance and ordered an 18' replacement for Dometic 8500. The fabric arrived in a heavy cardboard tube that provided a lot of protection and was shipped directly from Dometic in Dallas. I wasn't in a hurry, so I waited a couple of weeks to install. No problem with creases, etc in the material. The old one came down just like the YouTube videos show. It turns out that my model was a Sunchaser. The new fabric fit like a champ. No issues and Dometic even included a plastic cap for the end of the roller tube to keep the fabric from getting torn while sliding it in the grooves.

As mentioned before, the awning fabric came in a thick carboard tube for protection in shipment. Fabric color, size and quality was all perfect. Shipping was also prompt. Would recommend!
