To find your awning replacement size take a measurement from the center of the left side awning arm to the center of the right side awning arm. DO NOT TAKE a measurement of the actual awning fabric. Fabric size is determined by center of arm to center of arm measurement ONLY. When taking your measurement to determine your awnings size, you will act like the fabric is already removed, DO NOT even pay attention to it. You are measuring the center to center (middle of left arm to middle of right arm) distance between your arms, you are NOT measuring your fabric.

The awning fabric fit just like it was supposed to. It took no time at all to install and other then the color, I cannot tell the difference between it and the original. I liked that Dyers ships the fabric rolled up in a tube instead of folded up. This keeps the creases out of the fabric.

There are installation videos on YouTube. Look at them. The directions that come with the package are more designed for an experienced professional than the home installer. These directions seem to explain different awning equipment more than they do the precise installation on your unit.
The fabric seemed thin at first, but after a few days in the sun, it now seems thicker than the original from the same manufacturer. It was also somewhat bigger, filling out the frame better (could the original have shrunk?). My sixty six year old five foot two wife and I were able to install the thing with a little thinking about what we were doing. Used our own technique, and it was almost a breeze to install. Had heard all sorts of stories about lubricating the channels and so forth. Phooey, it slipped easily in place. Just wind it up and down a few times before you anchor the top to the track on the side of the RV (to get the alignment right between the bottom tube and the top of the awning) and you will be delighted with this awning.
We are VERY happy with this purchase and glad we did it ourselves and saved a bundle on labor charges.

the awning was great & we measured like were told but never was asked or realized that some campers have a shorter length awning

awning was great & we measured like directions told but when ordered was never asked or realized some camper require a shorter awning - they have shorter arms . This was never an option when we ordered & now we have a awning that fits but is too long buyer beware!!!!!!

Very impressed with the speed of shipping, and the quality of shipping of my awning fabric. Even though it could have been shipped in a much smaller package, it was rolled and shipped in a long tube to avoid creases in the event it couldn't be installed quickly (there is a maximum storage time on the fabric folded). I measured per directions, and, fabric fit like the old one. Relatively easy to install, but, you do need helpers to slide in channel (this was a 21' awning). The thickness of the fabric seemed less than the original, but, hopefully new fabric technology in the material will enable similar durability. Shade quality is as good as the old material.
