Description / WFCO 55 Amp Converter/Charger
The WF-9855 model provides 55 amps of clean, reliable DC power, which is ideal for powering electronics and appliances. The 9800 Series provides clean power, even without filtering from a battery. Quiet operation is assured as the cooling fan runs only when needed.
Another advantage is FCC Class B compliance for the WF-9855 model, which means that the converter does not cause interference with televisions, radios or other signals. Automatic three-stage battery charging maintains your battery’s life with three nominal voltage output modes: 13.2V DC range “float” mode, 13.6V DC range “absorption” mode, and a 14.4V DC range “bulk” charge mode. Electronic current limiting automatically shuts down the power during overload or short-circuit conditions.

Arrived promptly, easy to install, works great. Friend's 12v converter died on a Friday. Ordered replacement from Dyer's and received it promptly. Bought to replace previous identical converter. User had positive experience with installation and performance. Good product with minor changes like hex screws for wiring connections.

Dyer's is awesome!

Friend's 12v converter died on a Friday. So i looked around the local rv shops and internet for replacement. Prices ranged from $380 and down for direct replacement. But Dyer's was the best with price and delivery. They shipped the order out on Monday and I received the converted on Wednesday around noon.
Now I wouldn't recommend WFCO converters, but owner wanted direct replacement (plus it was cheap).

I bought this converter to replace an identical one that went bad after a little over 2 years. I assume it was just a fluke failure, but I'd have to say in my mind the jury is still out on the WFCO converter. But I wanted a direct replacement to minimize my repair time. I've ordered other items from Dyers in the past. I ordered from Dyers because it was easy to find on their site and their service and prompt shipping are terrific!
