Description / Westland/Splendide Washer/Dryer Replacement 4-PIN Surge Protector
This surge protector (manufacturer part # 257890) has a 4-PIN CONNECTOR at the end of the wiring harness. It is made for Splendide units manufactured between 2007-2020 and is compatible with Splendide models ARWXF129W (washer), WD2100XC (vented washer/dryer combo), WDC7100XC (ventless washer/dryer combo), as well as a few other less popular models manufactured in that time period. The module boards in these washer/dryer models have the 4-PIN connector that is compatible with this surge protector.
THIS surge protector (part # 257890) is SIMILAR to another surge protector that Splendide also used for their appliances. The other surge protector (which is no longer available) had a manufacturer part # of 091054.
The OTHER surge protector (part # 091054) has a 2-PIN CONNECTOR at the end of the wiring harness. The other surge protector was for Splendide units manufactured between 2002-2007 that connect to "vintage" module boards that are also obsolete. Those boards have the 2-PIN connector that is compatible with the other surge protector (part # 091054).
If you need the 2-PIN connector surge protector, you will need to order this surge protector and make some modifications. Please see the instructions on what you will need to do below under our "Documents" section on this page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: BOTH surge protectors have the same 'TYPE' number printed on them (TYPE 116103096). ALL surge protectors from 1996-2020 have had TYPE 116103096 printed on them.
