Description / Westland/Splendide Washer/Dryer Replacement 2-PIN Surge Protector
IMPORTANT NOTE: This surge protector is SIMILAR to another surge protector that Splendide uses for their appliances, but they are NOT the same and they are NOT interchangeable. BOTH surge protectors have the same 'TYPE' number printed on them (TYPE 116103096). ALL surge protectors from 1996-2020 have had TYPE 116103096 printed on them.
THIS surge protector (manufacturer part # 091054) has a 2-PIN CONNECTOR at the end of the wiring harness. This surge protector is for Splendide units manufactured between 2002-2007 that connect to "vintage" module boards that are obsolete. Those boards have the 2-PIN connection that is compatible with this surge protector.
The OTHER surge protector (manufacturer part # 257890) has a 4-PIN CONNECTOR at the end of the wiring harness. That surge protector is for Splendide units manufactured between 2007-2020 and is compatible with Splendide models ARWXF129W (washer), WD2100XC (vented washer/dryer combo), WDC7100XC (ventless washer/dryer combo), as well as a few other less popular models manufactured in that time period. The module boards in these models have the 4-PIN connection that is compatible with the other surge protector (part # 257890).
