The vinyl insert trim on my 2020 Cherokee started to crack and shred. I replaced it with the Heavy Duty trim I bought from Dyer's. The shipping was very fast, and the trim was easy to install. It's much heavier than the OEM trim, and I expect it'll last much longer than the OEM as well. There's no sense in buying light weight trim when you can get the good stuff for a very reasonable price. And while you're at it, buy enough trim to do your whole trailer. Once it starts to go, all of it needs replacing. If you're unsure how to replace the insert trim, there are plenty of videos to help you get started.

I recently replaced the failing vinyl insert trim on my 4-year-old camper. As soon as I received the heavy duty trim insert material from Dyers, I realized how cheap and flimsy the stuff was that my camper was built with. Trim replacement isn't a particularly difficult job, but it took a fair amount of time and a lot of sweat (in the South Carolina sun) to do a job that should not have been needed on a camper so new. The product from Dyers is clearly superior and should last as long as I own this camper. Dyers selection and prices are good, and their shipping is amazing. I plan to use their services as much as I can for my RV needs.

My original insert trim failed catastrophically. It was as cheap as the manufacturer could find. The heavy duty replacement I bought from Dyer's fits my trailer perfectly. The extra weight of the product should allow the trim to last many more years without further maintenance.
