This transfer switch works as designed but is very loud. In my Thor Miramar it is installed under the master bed. It's so loud that if the air conditioning isn't running to drowned it out it will keep you awake, my wife actually had to move into the Main Salon. I tried free mounting it with rubber behind it and some other things to make it quieter and nothing helps much about to take it out toss it in the garbage to replace it with something quieter.
It might be okay if it was mailed it down in the cargo bay or engine compartment but definitely not in the bedroom!
