All is good so long as it lasts

I am into my second board now. The last replacement board lasted about 2 years. The problem I had that required me to replace it twice was in both cases the second stage compressor would not come on. It was found the blue wire that supplies the 12V ground to the coil of the relay that starts the second compressor was not getting the ground connection through the P.C. board. Every thing looks good with the indicator lights, green flashing which is normal. The red led on steady which means its calling for second stage from the stat however the P.C. board does not put out the -12V dc to comp 2 blue coil wire. Thus it will not energize the coil. If you pull the blue wire and ground it the coil kicks in, the relay latches and the compressor runs. Not sure whats up with the P.C. boards but on my second one now. When they work they work and when they don't they don't is all I got to say.
