Description /
Heng's Off White Replacement Damper for Exhaust Vents
**Upon installation the entire flap must be lightly bent in order to have room to slip in (it is also highly recommended that you remove the outer hood, do not try and force the damper flap into an assembled unit) and be inserted into the exhaust vent, if the replacement flap is pushed straight in, the tabs will break!!!**
All replacement flaps are checked and properly packaged within the box for shipping. Tabs DO NOT leave here broken.

Works like it should!
Review bysrm351
Looks like the original, fits like the original, even matches the original color! Very simple installation too, I couldn't ask for a better replacement and again Dyers came through with a great price and quick shipping.

Flexible yet sturdy material. Made installation easy and fit was just fine. Bought an extra in case this one gets loose in the wind and disappears too. Very pleased to find it available.

OK, but I am glad I bought two, since I broke one of the tabs during the installation.
Review byDennis
I bought two dampers since I thought it would be a good idea to have a spare. When I installed the first one, the tabs were slightly long and caused the damper to bind in the housing. When I tried to remove it, I broke off one of the end tabs.
I checked the hole depth on both sides and the overall opening and then compared it to the overall length of the damper, including the tabs. I had to trim off about 1/16" total length and the second one worked fine, except that now I have no spare. Otherwise the damper is great. So my recommendation is to take a very exact measurement and make adjustments before installing in the housing.
