Overall pleased with the product. Some issues with plastic stabilizer, unclear direction arrows, and notch in the end of the roller. Excellent customer service, easy installation, and prompt delivery. Easier to install than previous model.

A few surprises

Generally pleased. I noticed, though, that my old one had a solid aluminum stabilizer on the end that goes into the roller tube while the new one was plastic and kept falling off. I transplanted the aluminum to the new one.
The direction arrows for winding made no sense. The arrows for right and left end pointed the same direction and reverses depending which side of the shaft the casting was folded over to. They make sense only when the casting is turned across the end of the shaft forming a ‘T’ with it.
Finally, newer rollers apparently have a notch in the end. There was a key inside the round end casting that needs to be broken out to fit older rollers. This was in the instructions, but took a while to find.

This was my first order with Dyers and I must say that I am beyond pleased with Dyers! This replacement part arrived safe and sound due to excellent packaging. Great instructions for installing the new torsion assembly were provided. Just make sure to read them. I had a problem with the original shipment that was lost by the shipper. I filled a lost package report with the shipper and also sent an email to Dyers letting them know what had happened. They responded almost immediately and shipped out a replacement the same day! Now that is great customer service! My awning works now and I am a happy camper. I will be using Dyers again and will recommend them to my friends in need! Thank You Dyers for a great experience!

Well pleased with product. My first time changing out the tension spring. Easy well written instructions made the project a simple procedure. Can not say enough about the courteous service I received while ordering and answering of my questions to make sure I received the proper tension spring. Delivery was prompt as promised.
