Customer Reviews
While the kit was complete the instructions were pretty lacking in detail and overall walkthrough of the job.
To get the motor out had to cut the shaft on both ends to be able to get to the fans which were almost impossible to remove from the shafts.
The kit should include a new clamp to use to clamp the blower fan (plastic) to the shaft, had to be very creative to get that done.
Had to completely disassemble the fan compressor housing to get the fan out to facilitate removing the fan from the shaft.
Had it all mechanically reassembled and back in the A/C when discovered a dust seal in the kit that I recalled removing when taking the unit apart that was not covered in the assembly instructions. This required removing the motor and compressor fan to install this seal.
All in all a job a fairly handy person can accomplish but time consuming and required many trips up and down the ladder to the roof of the RV.
