The 12V setting worked and the 110V setting did not.
I have never tried to use the propane setting.
To change the 110V heating element i could only find comments saying to take the fridge out.
I think I did it right - it works.
Take the fridge out. Remember to disconnect the gas, 12v, and the 120v plug.
I forgot to disconnect the gas. Oops!!!
1) bent up the tabs on the top and pried it up a little to get it clear the side.
2) could then separate the side at the seam to get at the heater element.
3) I changed out the 110V element. It lifted right out.
4) reconnect the side seam.
5) re-install the top and bend the tabs back.
6) Re-install the fridge into the camper.
We used the camper for 2 weeks and the fridge worked fine.
