Description / BulletProof Hitches™ 2" Heavy Duty 16" Drop/Rise Ball Mount Hitch
BulletProof Hitches™ goes above and beyond with extensive testing and manufacturing to bring to you these solid steel, made in the USA, hitches!
They use CNC machines with Renishaw probes to manufacture all of their parts to an extremely tight tolerance. This means that each hitch and ball combination fit together without slop or excess movement when connected to your vehicle.
All BulletProof™ Hitches are very thoroughly powder coated for ultimate durability and corrosion-resistance. This process includes sandblasting the hitch first, running it through a 5-stage pretreatment wash to remove any oils or residue, then sealing the hitch to eliminate the possibility of corrosion, and finally an application of their signature black textured powder coat is applied by a Fanuc robot to ensure consistent thickness across the entire hitch.
The HD2016 offers 9 ride heights that are easily adjustable with the 16" drop/rise option. This hitch is a Class 4 hitch and it has a 22,000 lb. maximum towing capacity and a 3,000 lb. tongue weight capacity in both the drop or rise position.
All BulletProof Hitches™ are extensively tested and have exceeded SAE-J684 testing requirements.
