I was fortunate to find this product as I was faced with an interesting dilemma. I was retrofitting my folding trailers ice box to a dual voltage refrigerator. My predicament was the cabinet the fridge would be mounted in had no venting. While conducting tests for the installation, I found that the enclosure the fridge was mounted in would reach temps as high as 98 degrees while the fridge was operating (not a very efficient environment for the fridge). Installing this fridge cool vent fan and venting to the outside using a louvered dryer vent reduced the compartment temp to a manageable 80 degrees or less. The fan is very quiet and cycles on when the temp in the cabinet reaches 80 degrees. Problem solved!
