Bayonet end collector fitting
Got this for re-plumbing the wastewater system on my truck camper. I added a greywater tank (retaining the existing blackwater tank) and wanted them to use a common drain. One major note: the 2" inlet is centered in the elbow. I.E., if you hold it so you're looking down the barrel of the bayonet end, the 2" inlet is centered vertically. Or, to say it another way, the casting seam that runs along the spine of the elbow is the line that the 2" inlet is centered on. In my case, since the bottom of my greywater tank line was going to be at the same level as the bottom of the 3" blackwater line, the greywater would have to run UPHILL to get into this fitting. I ended up not using this, and instead constructed my own by using an Ameri-Kart 3" x 1-1/2" Eccentric Tank Reducer (Item #: 54194 Model: T1041-1) and gluing it into a 3" ABS sanitary tee from the local Home Depot. That got the greywater line to enter at the bottom of the elbow instead of the middle, and my greywater won't have to flow uphill. If you were working on a travel trailer or motorhome with more vertical room, this might not be an issue for you, but it ended up being a dealbreaker for my application. Call it a $17 learning experience. (By the way, it might even be cheaper to build it yourself out of a san-tee, eccentric adapter, and bayonet fitting like I did).
