I stalled and stalled buying these because of the price tag, but am so glad I went ahead and pulled the trigger (ignore lame pun). I bought the black long range fast guns to use with the Torklift frame-mounted tiedown brackets I had already installed on my '06 F350.
The powdercoat finish seems tough, they really are 100% stainless steel, and they just feel solid with a nice positive engagement when you pull the handles down.
The only gripe I could even begin to have is that, for the price, it would be nice if they came fully assembled. However, with the included instructions, setup is easy and straightforward.
The FastGuns really exceeded my expectations and are refreshingly high-quality, made-in-the-US, built-to-last parts. I am extremely happy I purchased them rather than other setups or messing around with building something myself.
And Dyers RV: great price and very prompt, courteous service!
