Description / PullRite Trailair Tri-Glide Capture Plate for SuperGlide Hitches
All SuperGlide hitches will require the installation of a capture plate in order for the hitch to function, either the QuickConnect capture plate as described above, or in installations where a QuickConnect Plate may not be available, a Universal Capture Plate may be used.
The use of the new QuickConnect Capture Plates will simplify the installation and significantly reduce the time involved in the installation. The new QuickConnect Capture Plate simply slips up over the king pin; set screws secure it to the king pin box. When the trailer is hooked up to the hitch, the QuickConnect Capture Plate will function and allow the trailer to guide the SuperGlide hitch to move when turns are being made.
*If King Pin model and measurement "A" don't match up, use measurement "A" for selection*

I agreed 100% with the review regarding tolerences and loosness of the adapter plate versus receiver they move or get loose and creates a clunk loud noice while towing. Really for an expensive product I think this is BAD design.

BEWARE! Plate doesn't fit properly - damages and hits pin box

I purchased this item and installed it. But it doesnt fit right and hits in four locations. I contacted Pullrite (Mfg) and they gave me the run around, arguing that they have sold thousands of these with no complaints. So I customized mine by cutting of metal were contact occurred. I continued to phone Pullrite and sent them photos. They finally admitted they had confirmed hard contact and said engineering was working on a fix. Five weeks and six hours of my time later they sent a new revised plate. I have had many problems with this company. Their "tech" support is argumentative and dismisses everything as Customer Error. I also have a Pullrite Super Glide 18K truck bed hitch which has a number of problems. The receiver plate assembly is loose (sloppy) and causes a loud clunk while driving. They have refused to replace it but acknowledge that the manufacturing tolerances are wide and fore-aft movement is possible. These products are NOT cheap and this Mfg doesn't stand behind their products. Recommend you buy a different brand.
