Butyl Tape for H2O Heater Mounting

I used this to seal the joint between my H2O heater and the exterior of my travel trailer. Easy to apply, tacky enough to stay in position until you drive in the mounting screws. Mineral spirits cleaned off any residue after trimming the excess with a putty knife.

I wanted a strip of rubber with adhesive on one side. This product was more like putty, not rubber.

excellent product for many uses around the home as well as RV

Easy to use on roll with crepe type paper separating the sticky layers of the roll. Can use as proportioned or knead and roll to smaller sizes. Good product and nice to have "white" rather than just black.
