Equal-i-zer OnTarget™ Towing Tool - Laser Distance Measurer

The OnTarget™ Towing Tool by Equal-i-zer was designed to make calculating your weight distribution percentage faster and easier than ever before!

While you are hooking up your hitch all you have to do is take 3 quick measurements at the front wheel well of your vehicle. This tool will quickly do the math for you and present you with your weight distribution percentage.

The OnTarget™ device has a 50 Meter laser distance measuring feature, an LED screen that shuts off automatically when not in use, a textured grip with a solid and compact design, and a built-in memory function that allows you to save past measurements for even faster accessibility!

It is recommended that your weight distribution percentage be between 50% to 100%, then test driving for towing performance.

If your percentage is below 50% , or you want more weight distribution then simply adjust your hitch and re-measure your final measurement. To achieve more weight distribution using a weight distribution hitch, raise the L-brackets or increase the number of spacer washers.

If your percentage is over 100% to get it right at or under 100%, you would lower the L-brackets on your weight distribution hitch or decrease the number of spacer washers.

While you are balancing your weight distribution, you should save your first set of measurements, make the adjustments needed to your hitch if it's over 100% or less than 50%, and then re-take the 3rd measurement by accessing your saved measurements, pressing clear once to clear the third measurement and then pressing "read" to retake your 3rd measurement which will then re-calculate the weight distribution percentage.

The OnTarget™ Towing Tool is also designed to be a MULTI-PURPOSE tool! Since it has a built-in laser distance measurement feature, you can also use this to measure other things such as the depth of your campsite (to make sure your rig will fit on it!) or to see if you can fully extend your awning if there are trees nearby. With its' compact size this tool is convenient to store in your vehicle, your camper or a roadside emergency kit!
