We needed the sensor so that we could control the temp for our rear Zone for the ccc2.It worked perfect.

The Temp Sensor in my four button CCC went bad and wouldn't turn the furnace off. Replacing a four button CCC is an expensive project since they aren't in production any more and to convert to a five button involves changing both control; boards in the Air Conditioners. I already had one of these in my rear zone and it works fine so I just added this new one to the front A/C control board and all is well again. I believe the location of the new sensor id better located than the CCC so I win on two counts.
