Equal or better quality than original, which lasted 16 years. It is a bit challenging to install, but follow other reviewer's advice. Yes, it it pricey, but so glad they still are available for older model Dometic fridges.

The knob works ok.

The Dometic knob really was difficult to push back on to the fuel selector shaft. I brushed a bit of WD40 and pried slightly on the metal tab to get the plastic knob inserted correctly.
