The aluminum handles extend the full height of both sides of the fresh food and the freezer compartment doors which allow you to open the refrigerator from the right or left side without the hassle of changing out the door hinges. A two-point locking system keeps the door securely in place at all times for those long and bumpy road trips.
Dometic has tested this refrigerator extensively against extreme heat in the Australian desert to prove this refrigerator has the best-in-class cooling performance. Dometic guarantees reliable cooling and deep-freezing in low and high ambient temperatures so you can have confidence in the quality of the RMD 10-Series Refrigerator.

Product looks great, cools great, has issues

Installed after a quick shipping period. Arrived in great condition. Freezer and fridge are cooling fine. Less than 24 hours after installation, the "Door Open" alarm began sounding - despite what the manual says, the alarm cannot be silenced. Door is not open. No obstructions to the switch. Warranty call to Dometic was unacceptable. Only their warranty dealers may service it. We live in a rural area and the local dealer is unacceptable to us. We have a local RV tech who is very skilled, but they will not pay him to fix the problem. The RV dealers are booking into June, July and August. Dometic warranty is not acceptable. If you want to pay for the repair and abandon any warranty work, buy Dometic.
