Not heat stable

I replaced my old grommets with these grommets. A month later, I tried to remove the stove grate, and it was stuck - the grommets had dried out and stuck to the grate and stove. They were brittle, and I had to break them to remove from the grate. I doubt these are made of heat-safe silicone.
