Description / AquaLock 3/4" Water Heater Pressure Relief Valve
This Watts LF100XL temperature & pressure relief valve protects your water heater from too much heat and pressure. If the water goes above 210°F or the tank pressure goes above 150 PSI, the valve opens on its own and lets water out until it's safe. It's rated for water heaters up to 105,000 BTU/hr.
The body is lead-free copper alloy. The copper thermostat probe has a thermo-bonded coating that resists mineral buildup. A stainless steel spring closes the valve on its own after it releases. A test lever lets you check the valve by hand. ASME rated and CSA listed.
**Notice: For safety, always install a new temp & pressure valve when replacing heating elements or thermostats. Can be installed into top or side of water heater.**
