I had purchased a new Rooftop AC Unit and Control Board separately, but the original Analog Thermostat wouldn't work with the new control board. Luckily I didn't actually energize the Control board, so they were willing to accept a return and send me the entire board/thermostat kit. I was able to install the new Control unit/thermostat using the existing wiring and it worked as soon as I powered it up. It wasn't very difficult, but I recommend you have a AC/DC Voltmeter and some crimps handy.
