When I first tried to power up the dish it didn't work. I called tech support and was informed that the wattage coming from my rv was too powerful for the dish and that I could purchase something from Radio Shack to make it work properly. I wasn't told what this item was, but I figured out what I needed was a 120V AC to 12V DC adapter. Once I purchased the item the dish works, but I am not receiving all the channels I should be getting. After going through a series of tests with a Winegard technician it appears my problem is with Direct TV. I have yet to fully resolve the problem since I am presently traveling in my rv.

I searched the Internet for price compairisons & Dyer's was the best. The Winegard Carryout Satellite Dish performed as advertised. It was a great break form the set up problems & time from the old satellite dish I had been using. Wonderful product, great price & timely delivery. I would highly recomend it.

Haven't really had a chance to use it yet, but I did set it up in the yard just to make sure it works, and it did work as it was supposed to, so I expect that it should work the same once I hit the road this spring.

Dyers has the best price on this unit and the ladder mount. Although I didn't use the mount on the ladder, I did attach it to the roof so I could remove it in case of trees. Works great!

Bought it to replace a roof top model. I was extremely surprised how easily it found the DirecTV satellite. Plugged it in and it found the bird right away. From start to finish it might have taken 10 minutes for the original set. Just follow the included manual.

Dyers had the best price that I find on this unit, however, I still think it is over priced for what you get. But I needed one for my RV and the Carryout Antenna is what I needed and am very happy with its performance. I would buy it again and recommend it to those who need this type of satellite dish.

I have a new toy hauler. I had the equivalent of the Carryout permanently installed on my prior toy hauler and so I was aware of how well this satellite dish works. Not only did I save several hundred dollars on the cost of the dish, I also saved on what would have been installation charges on a permanent dish. This dish works the same and I can use it any where and on other applications, if I desire. I highly recommend it.

Since I already was a DirecTV subscriber and had a seocnd receiver, I decided on the carryout. If I decide to go with Dish network at some point, the Carryout works with Dish also. Such an easy setup. Connect thw power cord, and it "does it's thing" automatically. By the time I have connected the coax at both ends, it has already located the satellite and locked on! So easy. I had a combo antenna previously, and getting a fix on the satellite took a lot of time. For me there was nothing extra to buy... it's a set it and forget it install. We have a small class C and mount the Carryout on the ladder. If we need to move the MH to go dump, and return to the same campsite, the previous settings work fine, and there is no need to repower the Carryout to relocate the satellite - really convenient. Yes, it's pricey, but I can't imagine being without it now.
