PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Capture Plates
Capture Plates are a required component for PullRite's SuperGlide Series 5th wheel hitches. The Capture Plate's wedge isolates the king pin from turning in the fifth wheel plate, causing the Cam Assembly to activate which then allows your SuperGlide hitch to move as you are turning your vehicle.
Installing a Capture Plate was designed to be easy for you as well, most applications simply slip over the king pin and are held in place by a set screw.
Finding the right capture plate for your trailer's King Pin Box:
Step 1) Find the manufacturer's name and model # located on your pin box.
Step 2) Using find the Quick Connect part # that corresponds to that information.
Step 3) To ensure a correct fit using a tape measure and the diagram below, verify the necessary A, B and C measurements of your king pin:
Measurement A: Measure the king pin plate from side-to-side. This is the most important measurement. Be sure that this measurement is no more than 1/16" less than the measurement listed.
Measurement B: Measure from the leading edge of the king pin to the leading edge of the king pin plate.
Measurement C: Measure from the rear edge to the leading edge of the king pin plate.
*If your King Pin Model and Measurement "A" do not match up, use Measurement "A" for your selection.*
