To find your awning replacement size take a measurement from the center of the left side awning arm to the center of the right side awning arm. DO NOT TAKE a measurement of the actual awning fabric. Fabric size is determined by center of arm to center of arm measurement ONLY. When taking your measurement to determine your awnings size, you will act like the fabric is already removed, DO NOT even pay attention to it. You are measuring the center to center (middle of left arm to middle of right arm) distance between your arms, you are NOT measuring your fabric.

SHIPPING NOTES: Awning fabrics ship rolled depthwise. They will arrive in an 8' tube so there are no creases from folding and also so there is no need to remove the fabric from the packaging if you do not want to install it right away. No matter what size awning you order, it will always arrive rolled depthwise in an 8' tube. Please do not mistake this for us sending only an 8' awning and panicking that it is the wrong size. This is done so that your awning is not folded and subject to crease lines.

This was perfect! Exact precise replacement Race Flag Awning for my weekend Warrior 40' I installed it alone. Take your time, no rushing. I went a little further as far as disassembling mechanisms to ensure a trouble free install. Lube spring & latch mechanism while you have it apart! Turned out perfect!

This was one of the best prices i could find for my 21' awening fabric shipped to my door. The fabric was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition, as an added bonus instructions were included (was not expecting that). Installation was pretty straightforward, me and 2 friends were able to have it installed and working in about 2.5-3hours. Looked and worked exactly the same as my original.

Dometic fabric for model 8300

Product packaging and delivery process was excellent as was preorder online assistance. The description of the item did not say that an end cap protector and safety pins are included in the order. I recommend the description be updated . I spent considerable effort building a protector from a plastic jar only to find a much better one included. Also I fiddled with various nails for pins only to find these were included. The instructions I worked from were for model 8300 rev a 9/14 obtained online. The instructions which came in the package were for a different model 8500. My model was 8300. My package was shipped directly from dometic so this error likely not dyers.

Both Dawn and Melanie were knowledgable regarding the awning... I was very apprehensive, but was reassured after speaking with both of them... Awning arrived within 3 days, fit perfect... The instructions were mainly in reference to a manual awning, took some effort to ferret out the power awning institutions... (these were dometic instructions) The guide tool would have been nice to have for installing on the roller tube, but the top slide easily into the top rail... *** Use extreme caution when removing the tensioning spring *** The drive motor just slides right out... I marked both ends so it would reassemble exactly as it disassemble.
Great customer service and great product so far... Durability will be determined with time...
