Description / FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump System

Dumping your RV waste tanks is the slowest, messiest job in the RV world, but not anymore! The FloJet portable RV Waste Pump System chomps down the waste in your holding tanks to garden hose size at 25 gallons per minute. Macerators are one of the greatest parts invented for RVers. The FloJet Portable Waste Pump breaks up all the waste in your grey and black water tanks to 1/8 of an inch making dumping quick and easy. Simply clip on the FloJet Macerator to your waste valve assemble with the convenient bayonet hooks, the FloJet is faster and easier than the old stinky slinking emptying a 40 gallon holding tank in less than 5 minutes!

Have you searched the RVers travel guide trying to find a dump station on the way to the next campsite? With the FloJet Portable RV Waste Dump System you can dump your tank into your toilet at home or sewer drain, no more stops at expensive dump stations before you reach the house after your trip!

The FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump macerator has two attachment nozzles, one for a standard garden hose to flush the system and the other for a garden hose to dump the system. You do not need to buy costly sewer hoses made for RV’s, a standard ¾” garden hose from the local hardware store is all you need.

You want to keep your distance from the macerator as it works its magic? There is a remote start that comes with 6’ of lead wire so you can remotely activate your FloJet Waste Pump. A Handy, rugged and portable storage case protects the system and all its components; macerator, remote control and power cord when it is not in use.

Are you worried about powering the FloJet Macerator System? Check out these fun facts from the people at FloJet about supplying power to the FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump System

When installing the pump it is recommended that when using a power source that is 1-10' away you use 12 AWG wire. When using power at a distance of 10-20' you should use 10 AWG wire. Remember the normal properties of wire when installing your pump, the longer the distance, the bigger the wire should be the rule of thumb to follow. It is also recommended that a 20amp Fuse/Breaker be used. Many customers make their own power extension line out of 10 GA marine grade wire or similar and a 20 amp fuse. Alligator clips attached to the ends allows the power to be drawn from chassis, house or toad battery. Many customers find this to be the most simple solution for drawing power to the macerator pump and also keeps it truly portable as there is nothing hardwired. If your generator is near the waste compartment the 12 volt starter cable may be a substitute for the 12 gauge wire and a convenient source of power for use with jumpers and a more permanent hookup.

This is a great product and the flojet allows me to empty the tanks without having to move my RVs! I can't believe how fast the FloJet arrived. I received the FloJet in my hands before I received the conformation notice sent to my email!!! Way to go Dyers
Review by Red56
Thanks to Dyers and to FloJet for making my life a lot easier and it's not everyday when you order anything online or via a catalogue that the item is in your hands less that 24 hours after placing the order!

Why did I wait so long?

We prefer dry camping here in the mountains of Colorado. Free dump stations are few and far between... the dump stations closer to home are a 'fee per use' kinda thing. Before the FloJet our choices were: drive 60 miles out of our way to a free station or pay $10 - $18 (each time) for a station 'on our way'...

We now have a third option... which is going to pay for itself in short order...

We hook a 3/4" X 75' hose to the FloJet and dump into the 'floor drain' in our basement (it's the closest sanitary inlet we have available). The instructions say to use a maximum of 50' of hose... however... the run from our RV to the floor drain is approximately 30' of level followed by another 40' of downhill to the floor drain... no problems with the 'extra' 25' of hose.

On the outlet end of the discharge hose, I have made a PVC 'adapter' which goes into the floor drain... the adapter is made up of a female hose fitting, a 90 degree elbow and an 8 inch tailpiece which is secured in the floor drain.

The other nice thing about the FloJet is the clean-up... it's almost non-existent with the fresh water flush connection... We run the pump until our holding tank is empty, shut off the pump and open the fresh water tap which rinses the pump and the hose for a not-so-bad clean up...

Now for the 'bad'... the wiring connections... I have yet to run a dedicated circuit from the battery to a place close to the dump valve... and the wiring supplied is not very generous in length... for now, I use my pickup truck battery to run the FloJet... just pull the pickup next to the RV in the driveway, hook up the electric connections and 'dump'...

Great price & product
Review by Jeff
Our pop-up has a measley 9 gallon black water tank and we needed an easy way to dump when dry camping since we have 7 kids under 12 who can fill it in a 36 hours or less. We rigged a couple of 6 gallon portable containers to fit onto a 4' hose so with the magic black cannon and fresh water in the holding tank, in under 10 minutes we're dumped, rinsed and ready to pour into the next city-system rest stop we pass. Also fabulous for camping without hookups close-by because we don't have to fold down until we're ready to drive away. The portable containers even make dumping at home possible for those of us with cleanouts in the middle of the house and too much elevation from the trailer to the toilet.

FloJet Portable RV Waste Pump is a big problem solver
Review by Nevada, Tx
My son graduated college, but having a hard time finding work in the economy. So moving home he has moved into our 31ft Route 66 trailer. We have bought it 4 years ago, and only used it twice on short over night trips. Now I'm feeling better that its getting some use. But as you can imagine it would be such a pain to have to hook the triler up and drive it off to dump the RV wastage. This little but mighty pump has been a heaven sent, as we can now easily, safely and cleanly dump the tanks into our septic system. We ordered the portable one, and just twist the pump on the RV's dump point and attach a 3/4 inch hose to the dump port on the pump, and unscrew the sewer line plug and insert the other end of the 3/4inch hose into the sewer line, and turn on the pump, and then follow up with the gray water after the black water is finished draining, and it will all empty in about 4 minutes. Run clean water through the pump to rinse it off and out, and close all the open valves on the trailer and remove the pump and put it up. I never wired mine into the trailer, but instead went to Walmart and bought 2 battery clamps for $2.75 to attach to the ends of the pump wires, and I drive my riding lawn mower to the trailer and attach the clamps to the battery of my lawn mower, and it works fine. I store my pump under the trailer inside an old ice chest to protect the pump from the hot and cold weather, but it stays at the point where the pump is needed, with no smelly problems, and unsightly mess.

This is a Good Product, and Dyer's has the best price, and service. I ordered mine on a Sunday, and had it in hand on Wednesday of the same week,. Dyers was really quick with their getting the product to me in Texas.

This is the best solution I have found to the question of how to empty my RV's waste tanks when there are no dump stations available on our way home. It has worked flawlessly for me so far. And, because it is a FloJet product, I believe the pump will continue to do a great job for many seasons!

My Class A motorhome is an older coach and does not have an automatic waste pump. Although I have not used the Flojet portable waste pump yet it is highly reccomended and has been used in the boating industry for many years. The best feature is that it comes in a plastic for easy storage.
