Track is too short for Fan-Tastic 803350 12V Vent

This metal track part of this lid that connects to the open/close arm is too short and doesn't fit my latest-model Fan-Tastic 803350. The vent does not close all the way (a few inches still open).
A Dremel could be used to bore out the metal to make the track longer. I gave it away for someone else to figure out.
There should be a warning that this doesn't fit new models as-it-is.
