Description / Tri Mark 1 Point Baggage Door Lock

Single-point locking = the door locks only at the point where the key is turned, half-way up the edge of the door.

Mounts with four (4) #8-32 thread forming fasteners (not supplied). Supplied with gasket already applied under recess in housing flange for simple, clean installation.

Finish:
Paddle and housing: low gloss black powder coat.
Steel components: zinc coat with clear chromate.

Material:
Housing and paddle: die cast zinc.
Pivot plate, axles, pivot arm: steel.
Plunger bolt: plastic

This is a much better product than the original product that came on the Monaco it's much better built, much sturdier, and is less likely to ever break. I think I'm going to order the rest of them and just replace them as a preventative maintenance move.

I bought a couple of these Trimark door latches from Dyers. I received them faster than I expected. The latch replacement was quick and easy. Four Robertson (square) head screws and a bracket secure the latch to the door. Remove the four screws, remove the bracket from the existing latch, remove the latch, place the new latch in the door, assemble with bracket and screws. Done.

Each latch came with 2 keys, so I have plenty of spares now.
