Qest 1/2" Straight Stop Valve

I installed three of these valves only to discover that they would not shut off. Only reduce flow by about 50 percent. Had to loosen the knob, pull up to clear the stop and readjust the stem to proper shutoff position then remove and reposition the knob for proper on-off. Otherwise good valves.

I ordered this valve to be able to block off the water to the toilet so that I could use the water throughout the trailer while the flush valve for the toilet was broken. Well, the valve didn't hold the water. It appeared to while flushing and filling the plumbing system while de-winterizing, but once the water heater began to fill and I had shut all the faucets and gone outside to plug the low point drains, the valve sprang a leak spraying water up the wall and filled the floor full of water. I called the company and spoke to a lady that said that she would take care of it , but had to contact billing or something to see how to go about it, but she would email me by the end of the day to let me know what to expect because she was busy and would not be able to call me back. It's been close to two weeks and I haven't received an email or a phone call, nor have I received the new valve in the mail.
