The Yamaha remote start kit for the EF3000iSEB generator is one of the best accessories you can add to generator. Imagine waking up i the morning and not having to walk outside in the cold brisk air to start the generator so you can brew a cup of coffee. Better yet, how about not having to get up off your comfy seat at the campfire because the radio is draining your batteries.
The kit gives you a single remote similar to the key fob used on your car for locking and unlocking doors. It has 2 buttons, a start and a stop button. To start the Yamaha 3000, simply press the start button on the remote 3 times consecutively. Its just as easy to stop the generator, press the stop button and within seconds you will hear the quiet hum of the 3000iSEB come to a stop.

My gen ran like a top until they installed the remote starter. Its like the choke is stuck on at times and blows smoke now. I took it back and they said it was all good but it is doing same thing. Its is so handy but if I can't get my gen to run better I will remove it.

bought the remote tore down generator to install worked great tried it 2 days later would not start. got replacement at no charge but had to tare down generator again to install. this time kept draining battery so after 80.00 for new battery remote worked fine for awhile but then quit working and started blowing the fuse took back to Honda and was told board was bad. after 17 months , a lot of labor and 380.00 I have a generator with no remote start
