It’s time to purchase or replace your water heater? There are a couple easy steps that your friends at Dyers have to help you find the right water heater for you and your family’s RVing adventures! It is recommended you replace the same unit you are taking out, but sometimes you need more hot water or you want to add electric as a power option that does not come in your current water heater.

First, ask yourself what kind of ignition do you want? Do you mind walking outside to light the water heater? Or do you want an electric ignition located inside the coach that you switch to turn the hot water heater on with?

The next question deals with heat source – there are 3 options: Use LP gas, electric or add a motor aid that uses your engines heat to warm up the water while you are driving. You can get a water heater with all of these options, a combination gas and electric, or just gas. Take an inventory of what you want to have in a water heater and check out Dyers huge selection of water heaters from Suburban, Atwood, Rheem and Girard!
