I installed the bulbs as replacements in the tail lights of my camping trailer. They use less energy, produce less heat, and I assume are less sensitive to voltage loss due to the long wire run from the front of the camper. The running light part of the bulb seems to be brighter than the original bulb. The stop/turn part of the bulb is bright, but the increase is harder to notice when the running lights are on too. The brake/turn flashing is noticeably sharper and defined because of the fast off/on response of the LEDs. I do most of my travelling in the daytime, so I will be pleased with the sharper response of the brake/turn signals.
