Description / Dometic New Style Refrigerator Roof Vent Kit (Cap and Base)
Installation:
a) Center the base over the 6 ½” x 23 ¾” cutout.
b) Secure using ten #10 screws.
c) Place cap on top of base.
d) Secure cap to base using four #10 screws. These screws must be a minimum of 1 ¼” long to provide proper engagement.
e) Apply sealant over all the screws.

Like Will above I looked at a lot of places for this product. Most had only the cover and not the base. Then they wanted almost as much for just the covert as this whole kit. It is the exact match for what was on my trailer before a tree ate it. And like Will said above make sure you get some butyl tape and my advice is get some stainless steel screws at your local hardware store to save on rust problems. This kit does not come with any screws or sealant. If you can replace it yourself then this is the kit to use. Oh and watch out for those hungry trees.

I think this product is worth what you pay for it. And its the whole kit. I looked every where before I found this place. They have everything I need. Thank you. If you buy this dont forget to order the putty tape, and caulk to cover the screw heads. And if you dont have screws then you will need to get some.

Fridge Vent Kit works as it should

I needed a new refrigerator vent cover for my vintge 1972 Aristocrat travel trailer as it was missing when I bought the trailer. This vent kit fits well and I'm pleased with the overall cost and that it was a complete kit. Other places only had the cover and vent sold seperately making it more costly. This set is all plastic, but it seems to be a good quality. Make sure you buy butyl tape and screws to attach and seal it to the roof.
