The 12 volt, automatic push button operation provides smoother, consistent power to the valve and actually extends its life. Made from corrosion resistant, stainless steel, aluminum and plastic.

Hi to all readers
Item arrived in a timely manner and following the instructions it was easy to install. I wondered where I was going to connect to the power and the closest for me was to connect at the back of the refrigerator. I had to drill three holes through partitions to reach from the valve to the power source. Control wires were just long enough. Holes at the base of the refigerator compartment and floor exit to valve were filled with puddy. Caution: I have only used this drain valve a few times but as it goes out and in, it pulls to the side a little because of how it must be mounted. Time will tell and if there is a weak spot it looks to be at the right angle connection to the valve stem. Happy dumping.
