This unit modulates and controls the current from the battery to the trailer brakes. The longer the brake pedal is depressed, the greater the current delivered to the trailer until the pre-set brake power is reached. Red L.E.D. Indicator warns driver of short circuit and intensity of braking power being applied. Manual slide lever overrides the automatic operation and delivers full (12V battery) brake power for emergency application. Simple to install, with built-in automatic current limiter protection from trailer brake wiring shorts. Requires no pendulum leveling, mounts in any position, immune to hazard (4-Way) flashers and has multiple mounting holes and bracket.
